Meeting of BFUG Advisory Group on Support for the Belarus Roadmap
(Minsk, 1-4 June, 2016)

The Meeting of BFUG Advisory Group on Support for the Belarus Roadmap was held in Minsk on June 1-4, 2016.

The Meeting gathered key stakeholders and agents of Bologna process in Belarus for dialogue on implementation of the Belarus Roadmap. AG2 experts met representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian Bologna experts, Rectors of Belarusian HEIs, student organizations and NGOs representatives active in the field of Higher Education.

During the first day of the Meeting the report on progress to date in implementation of Bologna instruments was presented by Vice-rector of MSLU, AG2 member Elena Betenya.

Two thematic sessions on introduction of BA/MA programs and use of ECTS were held at BSU. The BSU Rector Sergey Ablameyko opened the Seminar with welcome speech to European experts and Belarusian participants. Two key speakers from Latvia and Lithuania Sandra Kraze and Aurelija Valeikiene shared the experience of their countries in implementation of BA/MA programs with over 30 Belarusian participants. After the discussion followed professor Volker Gehmlich from the Osnabrueck University of Applied Sciences (Germany) delivered presentation on implementation of ECTS in the EHEA.

Several working sessions with key agents were scheduled for the second day of the event.
